Overview

Harrods is an upscale department store located in Knightsbridge, and an iconic business visited by locals and tourists alike. The store occupies five acres of space and boasts more than a million square feet spread out across three hundred and thirty departments, and thirty-two unique restaurants.

It is possible to find almost anything at Harrods, whether clothing for men, women, children or infants, housewares, home appliances, electronics and jewelry, sporting gear, or even bridal trousseau. The building itself is split between seven different levels, accessible by elevator and by stairs, which comes in handy due to the fact that Harrods can sometimes serve up to three hundred thousand visitors on peak days in spite of its strict rules, which turn away shoppers in inappropriate clothes and prohibits photography on the store's grounds.
