Westminster Abbey at night.

This is the London of legend, with the foreboding Tower Bridge rising high over the water of the Thames, where tourists snap pictures of the picturesque view before them on the north bank. Here sits the Tower and the regal Palace of Westminster, Big Ben in its tower reflecting in the rippling waters below. By day they are stately and prim; by night, lit by floodlights, they seem to glow golden against the dark sky and water.

Nearby, one can visit Wesminster Abbey and its booming bells, as well as Buckingham Palace and its sprawling green grounds; a photo opportunity waits on every corner with the picturesque architecture looming high overhead wherever one goes.
